The objective of the Fund is to seek profitability higher than that of traditional fixed-rate instruments. To do this and obtain a better return/risk ratio, the FUND will invest its resources in markets having higher volatility. The Fund will use a diversified financial asset portfolio, which will operate mainly in the interest rate, currency exchange, stock, farming and Brazilian foreign bond markets by investing in Foreign Debt Investment Funds.
Such investments will be made in spot or derivative markets, such as future of the dollar, stocks or stock exchange rate market, and in dollar, stock and exchange rate call and put options, future of the DI index and other derivatives, including, swaps, interest rate, exchange rate and stock markets. The fixed-rate (both pre-fixed and post-fixed) investments are made exclusively in public bonds issued by the Brazilian Treasury and the Brazilian Central Bank, and in private bonds. In order to implement its policy, the Fund will carry out operations that are subject to risk by counterparts.
